Fresh out of the kiln

Fresh out of the kiln

The ceramic journey has been a relatively short but intense love affair so far. I’ve known for a long time that I wanted to do ceramics but if you haven’t found out yet- getting in to a class proves to be very difficult in New Zealand. I finally snapped a throwing course spot for May and after my first session went home and bought a wheel. I’ve been throwing ever since!

My ceramic pieces are influenced by all things magical. They’re designed to be functional, beautiful and retain influences of my botanical artwork. Think pastels, unicorns, flower fields and fairy dust.

A special mug for the morning cuppa, a wee bowl for the evening snack platter, or a tiny vase for those lush home pickings.

Beautiful really starts in the tiny moments as well as the big- these are my beautiful moments.
