Processes
In college I used to love hyper-realism and appreciated the skill it took to have something truly resemble the original object. I mainly moved in this direction. As I’ve moved through my journey I’ve gained a new appreciation for enjoying the process as well as the product. Hyper-realism for me is tedious and can often lack movement and character. My work now tends to be a combination of skill but also expression, colour, abstract objects and movement. The final product is a joy but also the process is too.
